Travel Expense Costs

For events held outside of Calgary’s city limits, there will be a surcharge to cover travel expenses and possible accomodations. While accomodation logistics can be discussed during the initial consultation, travel expenses are set at $0.85/kilometer for travel outside the city limits. High Fidelity Entertainment characterizes venues within city limits as those located within 25 kilometers driving distance from downtown Calgary.

Destination Weddings in Calgary/Canmore/Banff

Getting married in Calgary, Canmore, or Banff but don’t live in the area? No problem! With today’s technology, we can hold initial (and subsequent) consultation meetings over live video chat (Google, Skype, …etc…). That way, you get a better feel for who we are and it removes the element of nervousness that would normally be associated with not meeting your DJ until the big day. So if getting face time with your entertainment providing prospects is important to you, let us know and we’ll provide the required guidance to set this up.

Love Story Video Package – $1,250*

High Fidelity Entertainment also offers an HD Love Story video package (included in the Diamond DJ Package above) for couples who are interested in capturing and sharing their love story. This service is provided through Ryan’s i4life Studios production company and available to everyone, regardless of whether you’re engaged or you’ve been married for 50 years. It’s a timeless and professionally packaged keepsake that can be shown and passed on to future generations.

The package consists of the following:

* Custom Designed Blu-ray Case
* High Definition Blu-ray Copy of your Love Story
* Standard Definition DVD Copy of your Love Story
* High Definition Digital Copy (.mpg format) of your Love Story

The Love Story itself consists of separate interviews with the engaged couple, which cover each individual’s version of; how they first met, their first impressions of each other, first date, first kiss, the proposal, funny quirks each finds with the other, and the reasons they love one another. The interviews are then spliced together to make the final product.

The video is approximately 8 minutes in length and since the package is made available before the wedding, most couples opt to play it during their reception (it’s great to show guests just before the grand entrance).
